Scot Sims 

Scot Sims is a native of Texas and has been involved at all levels of industrial sales and marketing over the past 20 years. Scot's career began as a commercial diver in the Gulf of Mexico in 1981. Family responsibilities and looking to the future, Scot left the commercial diving industry and accepted a job in industrial sales in 1986.

The transition to sales was a good move. By 1988 Scot held the No.1 national sales title with a publicly held industrial valve repair company. Throughout his career Scot has successfully held many sales and marketing positions including account representative, regional sales manager, business development manager and regional operations manager. His career in B2B sales, and sales management spans 22 years. Scot's current project is North American business development manager for a UK based industrial manufacture.

In 1989 Scot begin centering his sales efforts around his presentations. Humble origins with Kodak projectors and hand made slides were the beginnings of increased sales success. With the advent of MS Powerpoint, the new media became the standard.

By 1998 he began to evaluate and document the fundamentals that led to the high rate of presentation success. The process of evaluation began with; "it's not me, I'm not a great salesman....something must be happening at the subconscious level that results in these presentations being so effective". Within a few months, the curiosity set in and has not slowed down for 11 years.

Scot realized the highly effective business presentations were appealing to basic, primal human needs. More specifically, level II of Maslow's hierarchy of human needs. The vehicles of application are based in psychology, anthropology and physiology. After 11 years of research, development and documentation every element required to delivery effective business presentations was scrutinized and formatted for maximum persuasive impact. In fact, the presentations had become so effective by 2003 that 95+% of all presentations resulted in direct business, or business opportunities.

In 2003 Scot founded CS SIMS & Associates with the goal of teaching the process to Deliver Effective Business Presentations. In 2008 the company name was changed to "Anthrogistics Systems" to better reflect the principles behind the persuasive nature of this presentation content strategy.
